2001 Colloquium a Great Success!

Read about the 4th Annual International Colloquium on International Education which took place on November 1-3, 2001, where the keynote address was given by Siemens Chief Operating Officer Dr. Klaus Kleinfeld. And then view the program for the Fifth Annual Colloquium to take place this year October 24-27, again at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, Rhode Island.  This event is sponsored and organized by the IEP.

The International Engineering Program is a dual-degree program combining a B.A. in German, French and/or Spanish with a B.S. in one of the engineering disciplines.  IEP students study language and culture each semester along with their engineering curriculum. In the fourth year of the five-year program, they then go abroad as interns with engineering based firms in Europe or Latin America, and also as exchange students with one of our partner universities
