Call for Papers:
The Online Journal of Global
Engineering Education (OJGEE)
invites engineering and language educators, international
program administrators, deans, provosts, presidents, corporate
leaders, as well as public sector representatives and other
interested parties to submit articles for its inaugural issue.
OJGEE serves as a unique peer-reviewed research outlet
for the cross-disciplinary and corporate constituencies involved
in creating, maintaining, and growing global engineering
education programs.
We invite submissions on the following topics:

Making the case for
global engineering education: What does today's global
industry expect from academia? How will engineers be educated
for global responsibilities? Do American engineers need to be
bi- or multilingual?

Gearing up for
international engineering education: Effective strategies
for launching programs, finding curricular models, and
identifying funding sources.

"Maintaining the
momentum": Sustaining and expanding existing
programs, especially in terms of advocacy and outreach /
recruitment and retention.

Implications for
Language Programs: Materials development, instructor
training and needs, technology, pedagogical / didactic
approaches, assessment criteria.

Current practices in
international engineering classrooms: Successes and
experiments in internationalizing engineering curricula.

Student perspectives
on global engineering education: Caveats and Success
Stories.

History of
international engineering education.

Study abroad issues
in global engineering education.

are welcome.
