2001 German IEP Study Tour Itinerary

Dear Parents and Friends:
  1. Please note that there is a six-hour time difference between Germany and the United States.  Germany is six hours ahead, so when it is 4 p.m. Eastern time here, it is 10 p.m Central European Time (Germany).
  2. When calling Germany from the US, do not dial the first "0" of a German telephone number.  If the number is (040) 857001, you would dial:  011-49-40-857001 to reach Germany from the US.

The International Engineering Program is a dual-degree program combining a B.A. in German, French and/or Spanish with a B.S. in one of the engineering disciplines.  IEP students study language and culture each semester along with their engineering curriculum. In the fourth year of the five-year program, they then go abroad as interns with engineering based firms in Europe or Latin America, and also as exchange students with one of our partner universities
