25 IEP Students accompanied by Drs. Damon Rarick (URI German Professor) and Manbir Sodhi (URI Chair and Professor of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering) travelled to Germany this spring to visit 8 partner companies and the Technische Universität Braunschweig. Below is the itinerary for the trip, which includes hotel information and photographs. Keep an eye out for the 2004 Study Tour next year!

• 5:30 PM —Welcome by Dr. Peter Nübold , Director of the Sprachenlernzentrum at the Technical University of Braunschweig.   

• 6:00 PM—Historical City Tour following the footsteps of Henry the Lion, Tour of Braunschweig (Meet at the Burgplatz ); Tour joined by future exchange students to URI (tour in English; ca. 90 minutes)    

• 7:30 PM —Visit to local eateries accompanied by Braunschweig students ( Dutch treat—bring Euros!) ; TUBS students accompany tour participants back to hotel.
