Acknowledgement of RI-INBRE Grant for Research Core Facility Usage

Research Core Facility Users who are provided free access to these Facilities have an obligation to acknowledge the RI-INBRE grant in both their publications and abstracts presented at scientific meetings.

Failure to acknowledge this support would revoke the privilege of free access to the core facilities.  Future access would then require prepayment of user fees.  It is the user’s responsibility to provide copies of abstracts and publications to the RI-INBRE Program office as proof that the grant is properly acknowledged.

Please provide one set of the abstracts and accepted/published manuscripts that acknowledge the use of the core facility to: RI-INBRE Program, Room 305 Fogarty Hall, 41 Lower College Road, University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI 02881. You may also send the items by e-mail to: riinbre@etal.uri.edu. We are required to submit all such publications to NIH along with the Annual Progress Report that is due at the end of February.

1.  Published Abstract:

"This research was made possible by the use of the RI-INBRE Research Core Facility, supported jointly by NCRR/NIH Grant # P20 RR016457 and the network institutions."

2.  Journal/Book Publication: Depending on the format used by the publisher, either as a footnote or in the Acknowledgement section, add:

"This research was made possible by the use of the RI-INBRE Research Core Facility, supported jointly by NCRR/NIH Grant # P20 RR016457 and the network institutions."
