Research Plans from Selected Pre-Proposals

The next phase of the INBRE
grant is anticipated to begin on May 1, 2014. In preparation
for the next phase, RI-INBRE solicited pre-proposals.
Those pre-proposals deemed scientifically meritorious were selected for further development.
Selected pre-proposals have been instructed to develop full
research plans, along with abstracts and biosketches on the
appropriate PHS 398 forms, and submit them to RI-INBRE no
later than 4:30 PM on December 16, 2013. The instructions,

RI-INBRE is based out of the University
of Rhode Island and is housed at the College of Pharmacy. The network has the objective to support
and develop talented individuals, committed to research careers in
Rhode Island, and to build the biomedical research capacity of Rhode
Island institutions. The seven participating research institutions are
shown below. The research foci of the RI-INBRE are: molecular toxicology, cell biology,
and behavioral science.
