Modeling of Physiologic and
Pharmacologic Parameters into a High-Fidelity Human Patient Simulator
The use of high-fidelity human patient simulation is becoming increasingly
important among all areas of healthcare. Our simulation lab focuses on
developing highly accurate models of complex disease states. This project
will place a student in the Human Patient Simulation Lab at the College of
Pharmacy, URI. The student will be required to perform considerable
computer based research and data integration via a high-fidelity human
patient simulator. The end result of such work will be the development of
an accurate and fully functional model of either a complex disease state
and/or adverse drug event.
