Coral Reef Conservation and Analysis

January 7-17, 2014

Students will focus on important global marine conservation issues. They will learn to employ the interdisciplinary theory for conservation and develop the practical SCUBA-based skills to solve real conservation problems. This will be an experiential, problem-based learning class in the purest sense.

Academics:

Students can earn 3 URI credits in NRS 475X.  This program is open to students in all academic disciplines; however, students must hold a basic open water scuba certification.

In-State: $2,235    Out-of-State: $2,785
