Withdrawal

 

Before withdrawing from your faculty-led program, in addition to reviewing the financial impact, we encourage you to discuss the decision with your family and the Program Director.              If a student must withdraw from the program, s/he must notify the Office for International Education in writing.

 

Withdrawal and Refund Policy:

  • Withdrawal 30+ days prior to the departure date:
    100% Program Fee refund, minus airfare expense (if applicable) & the $250 deposit
  • Withdrawal 15+ days prior to the departure date:
    50% Program Fee refund, minus airfare expenses (if applicable) & the $250 deposit
  • Withdrawal less than 15 days prior to departure date:
    No refund

Important: Withdrawing from a faculty-led program can impact your financial aid for the term. Please contact Enrollment Services to discuss your withdrawal and changes to your financial aid.

 

 

Cancellation

 

The university reserves the right to cancel programs. If cancellation occurs, all applicants will be notified immediately and will receive a full refund of the deposit and the program fee charged by the university. 

 

The university is not responsible for the cost of airline tickets and other travel expenses purchased directly by students, and will not reimburse for such expenses in the event a program is canceled.

 

Students are advised to purchase refundable airline tickets and/or trip cancellation insurance covering all travel expenses not billed through the university, as they accept the risk associated with these items themselves.

 

 

Dismissal

 

The Office of International Education reserves the right to withdraw a student from a faculty-led program prior to departure for any of the following reasons:

  • Disciplinary Action
  • Academic Dismissal and/or Probation
  • Failure to make final payment for the program fee

The Office of International Education reserves the right to withdraw a student from a faculty-led program while abroad for any of the following reasons:

  • Violation of Code of Conduct in Program Agreement

All dismissals based on the above conditions will be at the cost of the student and no refund will be issued.
