Germany

Hamburg University of Applied Sciences

In the North of Germany, Hamburg is Germany's second largest city and offers an excellent quality of life and international flair. The river Elbe flows through Hamburg and connects the city and its international harbor with the world. It is also a green city with numerous trees and large parks making life in the city very pleasant.

Hamburg is a city of culture. A vibrant theatre scene offers everything from big, classical productions to fringe theatre. Hamburg is famous for its ballet and is the third largest musical city after New York and London. Fifty museums offer a varied program of exhibitions and collections.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 2.5 G.P.A.
  • Junior/Senior Status
  • 4 Semesters of German or Equivalent

  • Insurance $973**
  • German Health Insurance (required) $450

**May be waived with proof of own insurance and completion of waiver form

Room and Board

Generally students stay in an apartment in a hall of residence. You have your own room and share kitchen and bathroom with a small number of students.
