Welcome to all students that have been accepted to URI as a visiting international exchange student! This page is for students that have been accepted to study at URI by the Office of International Education through a formal exchange program.

The Office of International Education (OIE) acts as the liaison between your home institution and URI. The office facilitates the following services:

• Exchange program paperwork
• Visa information
• Transition to URI
  
• Orientation
  
• Registration
  
• On-campus housing
  
• Student I.D. cards

The OIE is open 9:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday and is located in Room 107 of Taft Hall (next to the University Library). The telephone number is (401) 874-5546.

The OIE will correspond with you periodically about issues related to your exchange semester or academic year at URI. It is important that you provide our office with your current contact information, at all times, so you do not miss any important information we may send you.
