Meet with a Study Abroad Advisor
After completing an online GIS
, and prior to applying to a program (both affiliated and non-affiliated programs), you MUST schedule an appointment with a Study Abroad Advisor to discuss how it may impact YOUR academic program plan.
- You are selecting a study abroad program that is best suited for you (personally, academically, in-line with future goals, etc.)
- You are familiar with URI study abroad policies.
- You are aware of the responsibilities related to overseas study.
Please call 401-874-5546, or alternatively stop by our office at the International Center, 37 Lower College Road, to schedule an appointment.
Note: There are peak times during each semester that you may not be able to meet with an advisor right away, so please plan accordingly.
- Winter & Summer: Students who wish to participate in a faculty-led study abroad program should visit Winter & Summer Abroad Programs. Students interested in participating in a URI affiliated or non-affiliated study abroad program should complete a General Information Session and make an appointment to meet with an advisor.
