| Tuition & Fees
The cost for the Summer 2009 Program is
 | $3,000 for PROGRAM A
(Intensive Beginning, Intermediate or Advanced (3rd year) Language
and Culture Program), and |
| $3,100 for PROGRAM B
(Advanced Undergraduate and Graduate Language, Literature, Linguistics,
Culture and Business Spanish). |
THE FEES include:
- Tuition
(up to 9 credits in Program A and 6 credits in Program B), room (double occupancy) and board. Single rooms available at additional cost ( 90 Euros) payable in Spain.
- Language Practicum
All students may participate in small groups- not to exceed six (6) students in the Language Practicum out side the classroom. Each group will be assigned to a native teacher and will meet for one hour (Monday-Thursday) at a designated outside café (terraza).
- Grammar/Writing review sessions
- Excursions
Various excursions to several historical/artistic cities and towns e.g. Segovia,
Andalucia (Córdoba, Granada beaches), Toledo, Madrid, Castilla y León
(León), one of which would be a three (3) overnight stay (at a 4 star-hotel). Other excursions (to Lisbon, Portugal, Coimbra, and Ciudad Rodrigo, for instance) are available with co-payments, see Excursion
Form. Please register for 2009 Excursions with your Program Application, if possible. Excursion registrations are
due no later than May 22, 2009.
- Cultural Activities

- Special festivities and celebrations
such as "Inauguration/Fourth of July Party", "End-of-Program
celebration dinner and festivities.
- Literary Colloquium (for Program B students only)

- Transportation
Free Bus transportation from Madrid (Bajaras Airport - Terminal 1
and 2 ) to Salamanca (not the return trip to Bajaras), provided that the student be at the Barajas Airport no later than 1:30 PM on July 1,
2009.
- Medical Insurance
The medical insurance covers students from July 1 (upon getting on our
bus in Madrid) to July 31.
