Location: We will study the stories of Ancient Greeks and visit many of the most famous sites associated with them in our trip to Athens, the Pelopponesus and the Aegean island of Aegina. Our travel arrangement will be handled by Explorica Travel. Registration with Explorica will be required upon admittance to the program.
Program Fees: Option A: US$ $4,437 Option B: $5,055 (Fees subject to change because of airline pricing, which is handled by our turn company Explorica).

Academics:
- Earn 3-6 credits towards your URI degree
- Greek Mythology (CLA 395: Greek Mythology: Gods, Heroes, and Humans) 3 credits. Satisfies a Fine Arts and Literature requirement. All program participants required to take this course.
- Directed Study (CLA 497) 3 credits. Directed study project that will with some aspect of Ancient Greek culture and civilization and will have some component to be completed in Greece. It will require pre-departure research and will include a paper or some other suitable final project due after returning from Greece. The project will be decided upon in consulatation with the instructor. This course is optional.
- Mandatory classes will be held in Kingston, RI, the two weeks prior to departure from the US. Those students who cannot attend in person will be able to complete the initial course work on line through Sakai. See syllabus for further details
Housing and Meals:
- Triple occupancy room with private bath
- Continental Breakfast and Dinner provided (Participants will be responsible for purchasing their own lunch)
Cultural Activities:
- Archaeological site excursions with professional tour guide
- Museum visits
- Other events to be announced
