Study Abroad Workshops

The Study Abroad Workshops are comprehensive meetings, held throught the academic year, that provide students pertinent information needed to prepare for the sojourn abroad. The workshops include the following topics:
  • Cross cultural adjustment
  • Visa and passport information
  • Health and Safety
  • Study and travel in non-western countries
  • Pre-departure planning
  • Australearn information
  • AIFS information
  • API information
The Workshops are held throughout the fall and spring semesters. Go to our web calendar or print a copy of our current Study Abroad Workshop schedule for dates, or print a copy of our Pre-departure Orientation Flyer to get Pre-departure Orientation dates.

The OIE also publishes an updated Study Abroad Handbook, which can be accessed in PDF format. The Handbook is also distributed to students when they obtain an application to study abroad.
