URI Affiliated Summer Programs
The
University of Rhode Island (URI) offers students the opportunity to study in 6 URI faculty led summer programs (Belize, Dominican Republic, England, Italy, Greece, and Spain). These programs are designed to allow students to earn 3-6 credits toward their URI or other university degree.
In the case of URI students, many of the courses satisfy the URI culture and/or diversity cluster requirements; certain GenEd requirements in Humanities; and part of the requirements for specific Majors or Minors. URI Summer Programs are open to both URI students and Non-URI students, as well as both degree seeking and non-degree seeking students (including teachers, parents, and other professionals).
Students participating in these programs should read,
