Visiting NSE Students
Welcome to all students that have been placed at URI as a visiting NSE student! The Office of International Education & National Student Exchange (OIE/NSE) as the liaison between your home institution and URI. The office facilitates the following services:

The OIE is open 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday and is located in Room 107 of Taft Hall (next to the University Library). The telephone number is (401) 874-5546.
Prior to your exchange to URI the OIE/NSE will correspond with you periodically about issues related to your semester or academic year at our institution. It is important that you provide our office with your current contact information at all time so you do not miss any important information we may send you.

Housing Information
- On-Campus Housing will automatically be reserved for all student designating that they request on-campus housing on their Placement Acceptance Form.
- For Off-Campus Housing Assistance, visit: commuter housing.

- Post-Arrival Orientations are usually held in early September for Fall incoming students and January for Spring incoming students. Please look at calendar in these months to find the date and time of your Post-Arrival Orientation.
