Welcome back and Happy New Year!



I wanted to send you the dates of the coming coffee hours here at the International Center on Lower College Rd.  This semester they are on Fridays from 5-7pm (the dates are below).  Please come when you can and leave when you must.

Many cultures actually celebrate a lunar New Year.  Please come next Friday and share any traditions and food from your celebration of New Year.    Any questions please email me at joycisi@hotmail.com or call me.  See you then!

Coffee hours Dates

(a) January 26, 2007 - Asian New Year
Please bring some food and share some traditions from your lunar New Year celebrations

(b) February 16, 2007 - Family Traditions (Birthdays and Pictures)
Please bring some pictures or share a story of a family member, a wedding,birthday,etc.

(c) March 9, 2007- Bring Your Own Movie--BYOM
Share about your favorite movie, moment from a movie or short clip of a movie especially one reflecting your culture

(d) March 30, 2007- Spring Holidays

(e) April 20, 2007- Global Connections

(f) May 4, 2007- Got Plants!
Have an opportunity to start your own garden by planting a flower or vegetable
