USCIS REACHES FY 2007 H-1B VISA CAP FOR THOSE WITH MASTER'S DEGREE OR HIGHER
FROM U.S. INSTITUTION
In a press release now available on the USCIS website, dated July 28, 2006,
USCIS announces that the H-1B cap of 20,000 visas for those foreign workers
with a master's degree or higher earned from a U.S. institution has been
reached for FY 2007, effective July 26, 2006.
Any H-1B petitions submitted under this exemption on July 26, 2006 will be
subject to random selection until the final of the 20,000 visas available
under this exemption has been reached for Fiscal Year 2007 (October 1, 2006
through September 30, 2007).
