Hosting a Family
The Office of International Students & Scholars/OISS, located in the International Center at 37 Lower College Road, serves as a meeting place for the international community. The Center is opened from 9:30 to 3:30 pm.
The OISS staff is available to meet with you to explain and/or resolve situations related to your immigration status, which may need attention. We provide required immigration documents and problem-solving assistance to all undergraduate and graduate students, student interns, professors and scholars.

Be a part of The Unexpected Experience Magazine by sharing your unexpected experience while studying at URI! The magazine will be a series of short stories, photos, and memorabilia, showcasing a variety of experiences in which students did not expect prior to studying abroad. It will be an opportunity to allow others to follow along on your journey abroad!
