Electronic Access System
The electronic access installation project was initiated in January 1999 by ITS to provide security and controlled access to installed equipment in auditoriums, labs, and classrooms on the URI campus.
The doors to these rooms have been outfitted with card reader/code devices that have been programmed for access based on authorization from the Office of Enrollment Services and departmental offices.

Presentation Systems
Faculty members wishing to use installed presentation systems can reserve an electronically locked room; an orientation session on the equipment should be arranged when submitting a room reservation.
