The purpose of the fee is to distribute the cost of the annual $25,000+ site license. At present, the expense is shared equally by ITS, the College of the Environment and Life Sciences (CELS), and the Environmental Data Center.
All software requires a keycode and, where specified, a hardware key; call the ESRI Boston Support Office at 978-777-4543 to confirm that a hardware key is required for your software. ITS will provide you with yearly renewal information, keycodes, authorization files, and updates.
