Jellyfish models were developed by importing video footage and hand schematics depecting jellyfish movement into Maya 8. Maya 8's fluid effects and force fields utilizing Navier-Stokes Equations were used to place model jellyfish into 2D and 3D water environments. Successful modeling will enable a method to correctly model and examine the movement of and feeding behavior of different types of jellyfish. Aurelia aurita (Moon Jellyfish) modeled in video.
