Roy Bergstrom
Roy Bergstrom is a Lead Information Technologist in the University of Rhode Island's Media and Technology Services Department (MTS). Along with other duties and responsibilities, he administers and maintains MTS's Student Technology Assistants Program (STA), Instructional Technology Center (ITC), and Digital Production Resource Center (DPRC).
As administrator of STA, ITC, and DPRC, Roy's leadership responsibilities include project / program planning, implementation and evaluation; creating strong faculty, staff, and student partnerships; and technical support for incorporating advanced multimedia technologies into education.
Mr. Bergstrom holds Bachelor of Science in Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology and Master of Arts in Education degrees from the University of Rhode Island. He has over ten years experience as an Information Technologist specializing in the inclusion of multimedia technologies into curriculum design and development.
