These videos were created to demonstrate the effectiveness of permethrin as a tick repellent. The three videos illustrate proper techniques to apply the spray or soak kit to your clothing as well as a lab video showing the reaction of deer ticks to permethrin treated clothing. The videos were shot using two Sony Z1U HD camcorders and then edited in the DPRC using our AVID Media Composer Adrenaline system. Voice over narration was then recorded into the AVID system through the Mackie sound mixer. Now, the videos are being used by the URI Tick Encounter Resource Center (link).
