Self-Paced Training
Training CDs are available in the Media Room in the URI Library. They include Macintosh and Windows applications used within the University community. Basic, intermediate, and advanced levels are available and allow you to learn applications at your own pace without having to go through an entire manual. The CDs can be used in the Media Room or checked out for home or office use. Call 874-4266 for the Media Room's hours. Click here for a list of programs.
Classroom Presentations
Please consult policy information as outlined in the Classroom Presentation Policy. Faculty members can make their requests for classroom presentations to University Computing Systems at 874-2611.
Teaching a Class or Workshop:
As per the Director of University Computing Systems, any staff member who would like to offer a technology-related class or workshop to the campus community may do so. It will be their responsibility to advertise the course, secure a computer lab and required software, and register students.
