Robin Wiseman received degrees in Fine Arts and
Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and a Masters of Fine Arts
(drawing) from the University of Massachusetts/Dartmouth. He has taught at many area
colleges and universities, including Brandeis, Rhode Island College an at RISD Freshman
foundation and Illustration Department. He currently teaches at the Massachusetts College
of Art. He has received the RISDICE Visual Arts Teacher of Excellence Award.
Robin’s excellent portraiture and figure drawing is
known throughout New England. He is a founding honorary artist member of the Art League of
Rhode Island. Two of his recent local exhibits were at the BFA Studioworks Gallery and the
RISD Faculty Art Show.
Join the artist on Wednesday, March 30 from 7:00 –
9:30 p.m. in the Library Gallery when he will talk about his work.
