Listed below you'll find a list of sources that will help you begin your literary research. Many of these sources provide citations to books and articles on your topic. In order to get the actual books or articles, you will have to continue your search by using the HELIN catalog (http://helin.uri.edu/) to find material at URI or one of the other libraries in the HELIN consortium, or by requesting an Interlibrary loan (http://www.uri.edu/library/interlibrary_loan/ill.html) to receive materials from other libraries outside of the HELIN system. It is important to remember that requesting material from other HELIN libraries or through ILL takes time and should be done early in the research process.

For general help in using the library's research tools please refer to the online user guides (http://www.uri.edu/library/guides/index.html). There are links to HELIN, ILL, Reference Databases, User Guides and other library information on the library's home page - http://www.uri.edu/library/.
