Marking records to print, e-mail or download

Use the HELIN Library Catalog to create a list of research sources.

AFTER COMPLETING THE SEARCH:

Single Entry:
Click on the “export” button from the HELIN toolbar at the top of the screen.
Click on “export saved list.”

Multiple Entries:
Mark the entries you need by clicking the small box to the left of each entry.
Cursor down to the bottom of the screen and click on “save marked records.”
Click on “export saved list” from the HELIN toolbar at the top of the screen.

Choosing a Retrieval Method:

Print
Under FORMAT OF LIST, select “FULL DISPLAY."
Under SEND TO LIST, select “Screen Display."
Click on the “SUBMIT” box.  Marked list is displayed.
From the File menu, click on “Print.”

E-Mail
Under FORMAT OF LIST, choose “FULL DISPLAY.”
Under SEND LIST TO, choose “E-Mail.”
Type E-mail address in the “Mail to:” box.
Click “E-mail selected items.”
“E-mail sent”
verifies the transmission.

Download to Disk
Under FORMAT OF LIST, choose “FULL DISPLAY.”
Under SEND LIST TO, choose “Local Disk.”
Click on on the "Submit" box.  A dialog box will pop up and ask what you want to do next. 
Click on save and choose the location you want to download the list to.
Name the file, for example, a:research.
Save as file type “All Files.”

When the search has been retrieved (printed, e-mailed, or downloaded), click on “Clear Saved Records to begin a new HELIN Library Catalog search.
