Library Frustration Relief |
| Here are a few tips to help you navigate the
library more successfully. 1. Understand the instructors assignment. 2. Allow a sufficient time slot for research and for learning to use the library. 3. Start early in the semester. 4. Bring paper and a pen or pencil. 5. Bring a copycard or change and a computer disk. 6. Think of alternative topic words to describe your subject. 7. Check your spelling. 8. Read directions: look at signs and help screens. 9. Understand call number sequence and library locations. 10. Ask for help at the Reference Desk-- and ASK AGAIN! |
