- Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental
Disorders: DSM-IV, 4th ed.
- DSM-IV is a categorical classification of mental
disorders. Its purpose is to provide clear descriptions of diagnostic
categories in order to enable clinicians to diagnose and treat various mental
disorders.
Indexes, such as periodical indexes, allow
you to search for articles published in periodicals or journals. Some of the
indexes listed here also permit the retrieval of the full text of a given
article. Please note that an index and a catalog are not the same type of
discovery tool. A catalog (HELIN) allows you to determine if a periodical or
journal title is part of a library's collection. An index
(PsycINFO, Research Library, et al.) allows you to search for articles
within periodicals or journals.
