Immersion Program '03Sponsored by the Institute for Information Literacy, Association of College and Research Libraries Time: August 1-6, 2003 Hosted by the University Libraries, Immersion '03 will be four-and-one-half days of intensive training and education for academic librarians who are involved with and/or teach information literacy at their institutions. Immersion '03 will provide academic librarian(s) with the intellectual tools and practical techniques to help your institution build or enhance its instruction program. A faculty of nationally recognized librarians will be teaching the program. Participation is limited to 90 to ensure an environment that fosters group interaction and active participation. participant The Institute for Information Literacy (IIL) is dedicated to playing a leadership role in assisting individuals and institutions in integrating information literacy throughout the full spectrum of the educational process.
