Internet Access for Laptop Computers Wireless Network and Hard-wired Network

Laptop users in the University Library in Kingston may connect to the Internet by using the building’s wireless network or by connecting their laptops directly to the hard-wired network via a plug-in port.

Wireless network

To connect your laptop to the Internet using a wireless signal, follow the instructions at http://www.uri.edu/wireless/.

Hard-wired network

Tables in the 24 Hour Room on the main floor of the Kingston Library have ports wired for Internet access.
