Why Information Literacy?
General Education Integrated Skills
|
In addition to the policies listed in their individual syllabi, the instructors of LIB 120 Introduction to Information Literacy adhere to the University of Rhode Island’s Academic Regulations for grading, attendance, cheating, plagiarism, and other policies and procedures. Students in LIB 120 are required to respect intellectual property rights and cite all sources of information used in their class work and projects. For details, please see the University Manual, available online at http://www.uri.edu/facsen/MANUAL_09.html. The section covering regulations for students is located at http://www.uri.edu/facsen/CHAPTER_8.html. For further information on what rights and responsibilities students have, see the applicable sections of the Student Handbook at http://www.uri.edu/judicial/. |
