The Lobby Display, “Welcome back! and What’s New” includes information about library services for students, new library online databases and policies, and about the new Curriculum Materials Library. The Curriculum Materials Library at URI primarily serves the needs of students and faculty of the School of Education. The Curriculum Materials Library collection consists of specialized resources such as the juvenile/young adult collection, reference materials, preK-12 textbooks, teacher professional materials, electronic instructional media, kits and manipulatives, curriculum frameworks, maps, and educational tests which assist education majors in the development of lesson plans, instructional materials and activities. The Curriculum Materials Library is located in the Reference area, adjacent to the stacks behind the Reference Desk.
