Media Resources Center Help Searching for Music CDs

Our selection of music CDs consists of over 300 titles. The main genres that are the focus of the collection are classical, opera, Broadway, and jazz.

To search for music CDs in the HELIN library catalog:

1. Search by Subject, Title, or Author (name of a musician or composer).
2. With a listing of potential items now on your screen, select “LIMIT This Search”.
3. Limit the search by selecting the MATERIAL type “MUSIC-SOUND”.
4. If you wish to find music CDs located specifically at URI, then limit also by WHERE Item is located, selecting “University of Rhode Island”.
