 Listen, Little Man! Was illustrated by William Steig (1907-2003).  Steig held Dr. Reich in high esteem as a psychologist.  He dedicated his book, Agony in the Kindergarten , about "repressive comments parents make to or about their children" to Dr. Reich, who he hoped would one day be vindicated of fraud charges. Dr. Reich died in prison in 1957.  The theme of inhibition and repression caused  by society and government is discussed in  Dr. Reich's work.
