This series consists of sport action shots, team photos, head shots of individual players
and athletic staff, proof sheets, negatives, slides, and glass slides. Some captions are
available for the photographs. The series is arranged in subseries by subject/type
of photograph and/or medium: Athletic
Event, Head shots, Proofs, negatives and slides, and Glass slides.
The items in Athletic Event and in Proofs, negatives and slides are arranged alphabetically by sport or subject and chronologically within the folder. The head shots (2"x3") are arranged alphabetically by last name of person and are divided into staff members and students. Unidentified photographs are at the end of each sub series. The glass slides consist of 141 slides from the years 1932-35 and are largely concerned with rosters and point totals of basketball games played during those years. Several of the glass slides are cracked, the most severely damaged being the March 6, 1935 game versus Brown. The slides were re-boxed and arranged in their original order as found in a wooden four-drawer file box.
