1. Use the Encyclopedia of Associations [Ref. AS22 .E5] or Associations Unlimited [available from http://www.uri.edu/library/reference_databases/ref.html - Access with a Providence Public Library card or at the reference desk in the library] to find an association related to your Final Project topic. Be flexible. For example, if there is not an association on tigers, try an association on endangered species. If there is not an association devoted to the memory of Woodstock, try rock and roll history. If there is nothing on the War of 1812, try American military history. If there is nothing on Atlantis, try ancient history or archaeology. And so on. You get the idea. Make sure the organization that you pick has a web site. Note: If you are accessing Associations Unlimited from off-campus and you are asked for a password, put in your CLAN barcode (R.I. public library system). If you don’t have a CLAN card, go to the Reference Desk and we’ll sign you on. 

2. Photocopy the page (if you’re using the Encyclopedia…) or print the Web page (if you’re using Associations Unlimited) with the entry for the association. Attach to this sheet. 

3. Go to the Web site of the association. Print out the home page and attach it to this sheet.
