Adding Cataloging Date to Order Records

INNOPAC ACQUISITIONS PROCEDURES

ADDING CAT DATE TO ORDER RECORDS

When a book is ordered in the III system (Status o in Order record), a note displays to patrons:

"1 copy on order for URI."

When the book arrives and is paid for (status a in Order record), a note displays to patrons:

"1 copy in process for URI."

When the book is cataloged, the "1 copy in process" note displays until a date is entered in the "cat date" field in the Order record (field 03). If the cat date is not entered at the time of cataloging, create a list on a regular basis (e.g. once per month) to identify order records with no cat date, and enter a date through the "Rapid update" function.

  2. Start search. Label file: URI cat date/order recs date initials.
