Searching by subject.

If you already have an idea what subject you're looking for, or want to browse subjects, click on the Subject tab on the HELIN search page. This will take you to a screen that looks like this:

Following the simple instructions will bring up a list of subjects that match your search:

Note that in addition to bringing up a number of subject headings, in this case 188, this search also brings up a set of related subjects. Clicking on the related subjects will bring you additional topics that are related to your search.

Did you know?

The Library of Congress Subject Headings also exist in a printed version, which may help you to begin your search. Ask a librarian at the Reference Desk to point them out to you.
