I) CO
CURRICULAR PROGRAMS: Assist
learners in gaining self-awareness; the relationship
and responsibility of the self to others, and the
relationship to local and global communities so
that learning outside the classroom and enhances
learning inside the classroom
2) RESOURCES: Develop and sustain adequate funding, staff, organization,
facilities, professional development, collaborators, technology, and equipment
to accomplish the stated mission, goals, objectives, and strategies
3) CAMPUS CLIMATE: Collaborate with learners in developing and maintaining
a positive campus environment in which the responsibility for learning,
community building, and peer success is broadly shared
4) EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS: Collaborate
with other departments and offices in designing and implementing educational
activities to enhance participants' knowledge of theories, concepts, and
models; training to prepare participants for role responsibility; and
developmental activities to nurture appropriate stages of personality
integration
5) KNOWLEDGE GENERATION: Collaborate with other departments and offices
in facilitating the construction of forms of knowledge, especially those
involving the creation and changing of structures of power, authority,
and governance
6) OUTREACH AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT: Assist learners
in developing and supporting skills, competencies
and attitudes to view service as an opportunity
for reflective learning and development, civic growth
and global responsibility |
