Overview
The University
of Rhode Island Multicultural Center in conjunction
with the
Center
for Student Leadership Development presents the Fifth
Annual Leadership Conference for Multicultural Student
Organizations on Friday & Saturday,
October 14-15, 2005.
This leadership conference is a fun-filled, INTERACTIVE
day of educational events where multicultural student
organizations get together to brainstorm effective solutions
to the large task of running and being involved in an
organization.
Join us to learn more about
yourself, your organization, your members and your interaction
with all of the above. You will get a chance to meet other
multicultural organizations leaders and find out what
they are doing. You will also participate in different
activities to sharpen your leadership and communications
skills. Staff members from the Student Senate office,
Scheduling office, Student Advising office will be available
to answer any questions you may have. Whether you are
a returning leader or a new leader of an organization,
you will find this opportunity interesting, insightful
and important to your work with your peers ahead. Don't
miss out on this opportunity to network, collaborate and
jumpstart your semester as future URI student leaders.
