Welcome to World Voices,
World Visions' 2003! We hope that this site will be a
resource for you to learn more about World Voices, World
Visions and to be informed about upcoming events. World
Voices, World Visions is a One-Week Music, Dance, And
Art Experience For All Ages.
July 20-26, 2003 at the
University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI. Through World
Village, World Learning, and World Arts, WVWV seeks to
enhance understanding and appreciation of the diverse
streams of American culture, identity, and community through
exposure to and participation in traditional arts and
public dialogue.
- World
Village: Learn about the traditional music,
dance, drama, games and stories of diverse cultures
within the United States and around the world. For ages
5-12.
- World
Arts: Strive to become a global citizen by learning
about other cultures and about ourselves using the creative
arts as a conduit for expression and exploration.
