Room Reservations

The URI Multicultural Center is available to the university community for events, meetings and other programs. The facility includes a forum room, meeting rooms, a kitchen, and a computer classroom with limited audio visual support. Since the MCC's schedule can get very busy, please submit a request as early as possible.
 
Before you make a room reservation, first check our MCC Events Calendar to ensure your date(s) and time(s) are available.

Please note that the Multicultural Center has undergone renovations. Rooms 201 and 203 have been interiorly switched. Room 201 has been converted into a Student Lounge unavailable for event bookings. The Hardge Forum now features couches in the back area. Please be mindful of the space and resource accomodations as you reserve your room.

  • The Hardge Forum (101)
    The Hardge Forum holds approximately 80 people in an auditorium set-up, or about 65 with tables and chairs. There are two large couches and four small arm chairs in the back of the room, which cannot be moved out from the room. Screen, digital projector, VCR, DVD, and microphone(s) are available upon request. Newsprint and/or flip charts, and laptops are not provided by the MCC These items are available upon request and approval and are on a first come first serve basis.

  • The Computer Classroom (005)
    The computer classroom holds 30-45 people. White board, Screen, Digital Projector, VCR, DVD, Cassette Player are available upon request.

  • The Conference Room (203)
    The Conference Room holds 20-25 people. Tables are set up horseshoe-style; groups needing to change the set-up are asked to return the tables to their original position at the end of the meeting. White board and screen are available in room. Digital projector available upon request. Additional tables can be requested. Currently no door available to room.
