Introduction:

Sawa is a student based organization dedicated to raising awareness of the ongoing crisis in Africa.

Mission:

Placing Africa (the second largest and poorest Continent) under a positive light for the benefit of everyone belonging to the University of Rhode Island and its surrounding community, and to increase their awareness and understanding of the several heritage and cultures of her people.
