Conferences and Special Program Development (CSPD)
Welcome
Our mission is to provide comprehensive meeting planning services to URI faculty and staff for the delivery of noncredit programs to a diverse audience. Conferences, workshops, seminars, short courses, and training programs are the activities we produce with our faculty, staff, and/or clients from off-campus. Programming that enhances URI's image; fosters recruitment of new students; provides opportunities for networking; and facilitates the dissemination of knowledge, receive priority.
We also serve as the university's
central source for accessing meeting space and services on campus by external
organizations. In our process, we are committed to providing professional
planning services and expertise to the URI community and others who wish
to convene on a URI campus or at any other location.
