Celebrity Guessing Game

Mentors

Materials:

Post-it notes (pre-labeled)

Objective:

Depending on which variation you use this exercise can be used to see how well the group knows each other and work on their communication and creative thinking skills.

Instructions:

The leader puts a post-it note on each person's back. Each note has the name of a different celebrity/cartoon character/movie/etc. on it. The students should find a partner, introduce themselves to the other person and then they must find out what is on their back by asking each other questions. The questions can only be answered by "yes" or "no".

Variations:

This is similar to the above game, however, it pairs the students together. Each post- it note has an object/person, which belong with another object on someone else's back. (Ex. Peanut Butter and Jelly, Barbie and Ken, etc.)  Not only must students figure out who they are by "yes" and "no" questions, but they must also find their match.
