Partner B, your job is to follow your partner's hands, always keeping your palms about one inch from your partner's palms. Your hands should never touch. Any questions? Okay, go. (2 minutes)

What did you notice? (3 minutes)

Switch roles and repeat Steps 1 & 2. (5 minutes)

Debriefing:

What's the life lesson here?

Almost always someone will write or express the idea of "focus". With that comment as a transition, lead the discussion to an in-depth consideration of "focus" with questions like these:

What happened when you lost focus on your goal?

What caused you to lose focus?

How did you regain focus?

Have you ever lost focus in your life? What happened?

How strong is your focus right now on college? What could you do to strengthen your focus?

Takes about 5 - 15 minutes for discussion.
