Employment

 

Students may work for the University of Rhode Island Department of Music in four basic areas:

Concert Production and Recording

Facilities Assistance and Security Monitoring

Music Office Assistance

and

Music Resource Assistance

The majority of working hours take place during the Fall and Spring semesters. There are limited opportunities for work during the Winter break and Summer.

Please fill out and send the form below if you are interested in working for the URI Music Department.  I will respond to you within a day or two confirming that I received you application If you do not hear from me after a week passes please feel free to contact me to confirm that I received your information. My contact information is on the right.

After e-mail confirmation hiring should occur shortly after meetings within the department where all the applications are reviewed.  Please allow a week to 10 days for this process.

Monday - Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm

December through January, and May through August: by appointment only.
